Drivers in TrueMotion Family are organized into Families. Members of a Family can see each others' locations, trips, and driving scores.
Each Family has at least one "owner," who can invite additional family members, remove family members, and make other family members owners. When you start a new family you're automatically made an owner of that family. Note that once you promote a family member to owner of a family, you can't take away their owner privileges (though owners can resign their own ownership privileges).
Joining a Family
When you're invited to a family in TrueMotion Family, you'll get a text message with the name of the person who invited you and the name of the family you've been invited to.
In the TrueMotion Family app, you'll see a dot on the family selection bar to indicate that you have a pending invite. Tap on the bar to see your families (and switch which one you're viewing) and to accept or decline an invitation.
Adding Family Members
If you're an owner, you can invite family members by tapping on the gray "Add Family Member" hexagon along the bottom of the screen. You'll then be able to invite a new family member from your phone's contact list or by entering their phone number.
Detailed family management settings are available in the family roster, accessible in the upper right of the map view.
In the roster view, you can see all of the members of your family listed. Owners can also see pending family invitations and declined family invitations at the bottom of the list, below current family members.
If you're an owner, you can tap on a family member to remove them from the family or promote them to the family owner role. Owners can also tap on themselves to resign their ownership here.
Any family member can tap on themselves to leave the family.
As an owner, you can also rename the family by tapping the ellipsis (...) in the upper right of the roster view. New family members can also be invited via the "Add Member" button at the bottom of the screen.
